For Aspiring Talent

· A typical photoshoot for a model will last 2.5 to 3.5 hours and for an actor will last approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This may include studio only or studio plus location shots.

· The session begins with or is preceded by a portfolio consultation to assess the strengths of and areas for improvement in the model's portfolio, or to assess the areas of interest for new models just starting out.

· Modeling portfolio clients, as part of the basic shoot package, will be given a 4 x 6 (3.5 x 5 or 5 x 5 if medium format) print of each color shot, a contact sheet showing all black and white shots captured using film, plus a single handmade custom black and white 8 x 10 inch print of the client's choice.

· It is quite rare among photographers to give clients contact sheets or prints of each shot from a photoshoot. Most photographers only want you to see their best shots. At Parallax Photography & Fine Art, we believe that seeing all the images from a shoot is a valuable learning exercise for the model.

· Photoshoots are priced at $65.00 per roll of 24 or $90.00 per roll of 36 exposures in 35 mm., and $60.00 per roll of 10 -12 or $110.00 per roll of 20-24 exposures in 6 x 6 or 6 x 7 cm medium format. A typical model's photoshoot will involve taking 3 or more rolls of 36 exposures in both color and black & white. On location charges may be extra depending on the location of the shoot. Please note that prices are subject to change due to escalating costs.

· All models are required to sign a standard model release.

· Discounts may from time to time be offered to models whom the photographer believes may provide images suitable for his portfolio, advertising, and/or commercial purposes.
